Stocking Stuffers: The Stripper Clause

So, some big news: I know I mentioned that I was working on a sequel caption to Hijacked, but I had this new idea I wanted to try out instead. I'm going to try a new series for the holidays, which I'm calling Stocking Stuffers.

This is totally ripping-off inspired by Alyssa of the wonderful Making Maidens blog. A few years back, Alyssa posted a new caption everyday of December leading up to Christmas. I really doubt that I can manage that sort of productivity, but I'll try posting as many new captions as I can.

Like Alyssa's holiday caps, these will mostly be sequel-type captions. I've had a lot of characters come and go on this blog, and a lot that I've left up in the wind for a very long time. And in my post last month, many of you commented that you wanted to see more of some characters, like Tessa and Princess. So I'll try and work in as many as I can.

And to start us off, here's one of my oldest, and bustiest, characters:

I hope you enjoyed seeing more of Ms. Mountains's mountains. I'm feeling inspired by this new series, with lots of new ideas popping up quickly. Hopefully you'll all enjoy those too.

Please let me know if you have any favorite characters you'd like to see, and I'll try to include them too.

  1. I love it! Political Burdens was actually the first caption of yours that I ever saw, so this is especially nice nostalgia. This seems like it will be a fun series.

    1. Glad you enjoyed it. Actually, Political Burdens was the first new cap I posted on this site, though I believe I actually made Swollen Pride first.

  2. EEEEEEEEEEEE! ^o^ Yes, yes, YES! Advent Calendar was one of the most awesome features in MM and now you're doing it and it will be just *awesome*! XD

And Maggie Mountains is a good place to start, she's a classic and been really underused. If I had come back in time to comment on that post, I'd definitely suggest her for sequels. :P

Well, now I'll be just here in my corner imagining the amazing fates that await the other tons of characters in your blog. Teeheeeee ^w^

And best wishes for you, dear. :*

    1. Ha, we think alike it seems. The Advent Calender was actually part of what kept me working my way through the Prank War saga, and remains among my favorite events in captioning if only for the effort Alyssa clearly put into it.

I'm glad you enjoyed this quick return by Maggie Mountains. Political Burdens was my first new cap on this blog, and I've been meaning to bring her back for ages. A year or so ago, I was even planning on doing an election series between her and Anita Goodleigh fighting to become the next mayor of Beaverhole. I might still do that sometime. Who knows?

  3. Make as many as you can stand to. You know they will be welcome.
Maggie Mountains especially is welcome. Maybe she'll appear in another holiday cap this month...?
I will be sending you some Christmas-related images in the hope that they might be of use. I urge other fans of this site to do the same.

    1. Please do! :-) I've got some Christmas-themed pics, but can definitely use more. For obvious reasons, some of these caps will probably not have holiday themes, especially if I have to use morphed images for some characters. But I'd love to have as many holiday pics as I can.

  4. Looking forward to your Advent Calendar, just as long as you don't burn yourself out.

The one that comes to mind that I would love to see is Mandy (possibly her less then helpful assistant Janet) from the Honeywell series.

    1. Mandy and Janet, huh? Hmm.... :-) I'll see what I can come up with. Might do a follow-up for a few other Honeywell/Paddlehard inmates, too.
