Happy Humpday, everybody!
Today I have a long series of captions sent in by a Guest captioner who wants to remain anonymous. It's a dark little revenge tale, with a unique mermaid theme.
He spent some time writing these, and would very much like to hear your feedback in the comments, so please let him know what you think.

I did not read the whole thing, it is really hard in this format. Small text, long lines. The author might better make a doc, pdf or just a text post.
ReplyDeleteI think this story would be improved by some editing and shortening down to the essential. It could be told in about half the images we have here.
ReplyDeleteOther than that, it's quite an interesting concept. It could have gone to more interesting places, but it's not bad. It's nice.
I had trouble with getting myself to read it, and most of the reason is because it's a lot of captions all at once. 11 captions with a lot of text is a big bump from usually seeing around 3-5 captions at most. I agree with Kinky Scientist about trying a different format, I made my captions into text posts with images when I started adding to BDSMLR.
ReplyDeleteMy other thoughts are more like my preferences. I would've liked if Sarah was a marine biologist or something like that to make turning into a mermaid have more impact.
The story itself is good and the mermaid-idea is very I teresting.
ReplyDeleteBut is a bit too long to work good with captions, especially every cap is quite long and there are 11 of them.
So either shorten the captions (I think 1/4 less would be good) or have it as a story with the pictures thrown in after segments.
Otherwise it is quite good.
Amazing detailed story (would have only hoped for some more body modification details).
