A new cap, at long last! :-)

This caption is a very abbreviated version of an old age-regression story idea of mine, involving a woman being slowly manipulated into becoming a young schoolgirl by her evil mother-in-law.

Guest Cap: The Prima Stripperina by Pzkwg

Apologies for my absence, everyone. Besides dealing with house guests this past week, my computer is really on the ropes as well. I'm going to have to replace it soon, I'm afraid.

Anyway, a few days ago I was sent an email from Pzkwg, with a nice captioned image text, though no picture to go with it. With Pzkwg's permission, I've rewritten the text. I'd originally planned to simply fix some grammar issues, but the end result is a rather longer, and somewhat different caption than the original text.

As it is, it is just too long to work as a caption. So instead I'm going to post it all after the break, along with a somewhat appropriate picture (I have far too few ballerina or stripper pictures in my archives, it turns out), as well as Pzkwg's original text. This way you can see both my altered version, and the original caption itself.

This is a ballerina-to-stripper tale, in case the title wasn't obvious enough. :-)

Messing With Samantha

Here's another bonus cap from my bin of forgotten captions.

I've left this one a bit open to your imagination; Is poor Samantha the victim of a terrible curse; a student with a time-stopping power; or perhaps some powerful reality-bending entity from Beyond?

Your choice. Personally, I'm partial to a time-stopper, as I've always loved time-stop tales that feature victims who are caught totally unaware as the time-stopper manipulates them in real-time.

But that's just me. :-)

On another note, my captioning will probably slow down a bit for a while, as I've got a lot on my plate at the moment (family coming to visit, mostly), but I'll try to scrounge up a few more of my lost captions.

Also, I've just published a new ebook, called Laura Krauff and the Devious Djinn (Links: Smashwords, Amazon, Barnes&Noble). It was previously published on this site, but I have fixed a lot of grammar and spelling issues, and nearly doubled its original length from around 3,900 to just over 7,000 words. And I've added two entirely new wishes, as well.

Let me know what you all think, and thanks again for all the comments and visits. We're not too far off from the big ONE Million hits! :-D

Tutor Troubles

I found this cap lying around on my computer hard drive, unfinished. I've got tons of partially-finished captions like this floating around, some with pics and a lot without.  I couldn't remember which picture I had planned to use with this text, but I found something suitable after a bit of a re-write.

So you can call this one a bit of a Valentine's Day bonus cap - albeit a tad late.

I've got a very long document on my computer, where I put all my raw caption texts before I paste the final edit into GIMP/MSpaint and add the caption to the image itself. I've been adding to it since the original Midnight Surgeon cap, and now it is over 120 pages long. By now there are tons of partially-written caps or random edits just lying about all over the place. I've found it a useful resource for inspiring new captions and story ideas.

Altogether there are probably a dozen more nearly-finished caps like the one above, and lots of could-have-been versions of stuff I have posted here in the past. I think I might add a few more of these 'Bonus' captions here in the near future.

Hope you all had a fun Valentine's Day,

Off the Deep End

Well, this was meant to be posted yesterday, but Blogger wouldn't let me upload pictures again, for some reason. But it's working now. Go figure.

Anyway, here's another quick cap. I mostly like this one for the title, but the premise is fun too, if fairly simple. Enjoy! :-)

Happy Monday! Here's a quick cap, about the hazards of accepting bets from devious-minded nerds. :-)

RXford Industries Product Ads 1 & 2

Here's the first two advertising-type caps. I'm just trying out a new idea here, so these are pretty simple and rough, but hopefully enjoyable too.

I've got a lot more ideas - some more interesting than these two - but I'm still trying to decide what sort of look these ads should have.

Back at Last!

I'm back, at least for a bit.The stomach bug is finally gone from my system, but I've still got a lot of personal issues to deal with in Real-Life that are eating up most of my time and attention at the moment. Thanks to all for the well-wishes these past two weeks, or so. :-)

Here's two very quick, sort-of short, standalone captions I came up with during IM chat conversations a few days ago. They're nothing special, but maybe you'll enjoy them.

I've also got some ideas for a few super-short, advertisement-style caps too, if anyone is interested in that sort-of thing. Please let me know.
