News!

Hello everyone! Sorry about disappearing again, been dealing with some flooding here the past few weeks. Got around two feet or so of rain in the space of about 10 days, and was stuck living on a island for awhile. Basement sprung an artesian well and flooded, and I had to cut a groove in the foundation from the well to my sump pump....

I've been a bit busy, is what I'm saying. ;-)

Anyway, should have some new caps up very soon. KS_1985 made a few wonderful morphs for me the other day for a caption idea I had, so I really need to get on that. Hope you all don't mind the wait too much, things should be better very soon.

  1. Dang, Rex, you really can't catch a break, can you...?
Oh, well, at least your bad news this time was not as bad as some previous bad newses.

  2. Thanks for still trying your best to keep us in the loop about how things are going, despite all the distractions. I'm sorry to hear that you keep having such hard times. Your work continues to definitely be worth the wait though.

  4. Do what you can and I hope you did not lose anything in flooding. I would however recommend a good concrete sealer, after all there is a large chanve of more rain on the way and you are past saturation in the ground. When the soil is holding that much water, it drys out very slowly and floods easily as there is no place for additional water to go. Good luck and post when you can.

    1. That's a good point, Rex: no matter what anyone's political ideology says, the climate is changing radically. Weather is going to become more intense and extreme, so harden your home against rain, snow and wildfire, and try to keep backup copies in durable media in a separate location whenever it's practical.
