Riffraffed

Here's a little two-part caption for humpday. I've wanted to do some race-transformation caps for a while now, but haven't been able to work out a plot I liked. Then I saw these pics in my picture folder today and figured I'd give it a quick try.

Let me know what you all think of these; I've always felt a bit shy of broaching this subject and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. But I do have a few other related ideas that I'd like to try out sometime, if people aren't weird-ed out by this sort of thing.

In other news, I've finished a new ebook, Ro-Sham-BIMBO. As the title suggests, it's about a bimbofication-themed game show, 16,700 words of body-modifications, breast expansion, mind control, and more. :-)

  1. so, this is my personal opinion. I could be totally offbase. I'm south asian if that matters.
It's a good starting point though it seems troubling that, horror of horrors, Rachel now has black skin. Maybe she needs to be degraded further to make it clear that the other girls are better than her.
The punchline needs work too "she wasn't going to make partner now!" is icky. If there are further captions where she gets more modifications (speech, tattoos, urges) and ends up worse than the other women that would be good.

    1. Well... the idea wasn't so much that having black skin is bad, or that the salon girls would somehow be better than her after her treatment.

It's more that the cap is from her POV, and to her, having black skin is a 'horror of horrors' situation, as she is now the same as the very riffraff she detests (albeit secretly). Likewise, the punchline is also from her POV, as she thinks that her career prospects will be negatively effected by her sudden change in (apparent) race.

Perhaps I should have laid things out differently, or told the cap from someone else's POV. Though I'm not sure if Rachel's humiliation factor would have been clear in that case.

Oh well, it either works, or it doesn't. No worries. :-)

    2. I understand and as always the image choices you make are fantastic. I think cultural changes are hot so I would like to see more from you!

  2. i really like this one, I see what the other poster is saying but don't think it should be taken too seriously, it's a really fun fantasy caption.

think race and cultural changes are so hot

    1. Glad that you enjoyed it :-)

I might do some more in the future, not sure yet. Full-blown cultural changes require a greater knowledge of slang terminology than I possess, unfortunately. Though I do like them, particularly when they are excessive, even stereotypical, in nature. Burke_Raker has done a few stories like that, which I've enjoyed considerably.

  3. This is great, please continue! I am a big fan of racial transformation. I think the ones that work best center on social drop as opposed to just changed looks - that is why, unlike the first poster, I think this caption works pretty well. Just imagine Rachel trying to be accepted as her old self in her current condition...

  4. Nice. The story should continue. Perhaps not as a degradation but as an education. Then again Educated Damsels doesn't have quite the same ring ;-).
Here's a racial plus gender transformation I did myself

    1. Ooh, I missed that series! Nice!! Though I did find that same set of Beauchamp pics a while ago, and had planned to use it for a somewhat longer race-change series myself, back around the time Alyssa was doing this series: http://makingmaidens.blogspot.com/2013/06/once-you-go-black-part-1.html

Oh well, I guess I can always use it again, anyway. ;-)

  5. Racial transformations are awesome, and I'd certainly love to see more. In particular i've always rather liked asian tfs...but, really any sort is enjoyable.

  6. Well, I'm glad this had gone over as well as it has. I might have to think up a few more race-change scenarios for the future. Maybe something historical even. Hmm....

  7. Been out of the comments for a long while but still around and loving the captions! ^^

First things first, you got a typo on the "Race Change" label. :P

And hey, I love your take on a race change story and I sure as hell would want to see more!

  8. Absolutely love race change TFs, especially when their used as a comeuppance, and this was a good one. Perhaps next time you can add in a dash of change based on a stereotype if the individual is bigoted (as Rachel was here)?
